Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How many sessions will I need?
A. This very much depends on you and what you want to achieve.. Whatever, it is your choice.
Q. I've never had any kind of coaching, mentoring or therapy before and I am unsure where to start.
A. I suggest you book a 30 minute complimentary appointment so we can talk through what you want to achieve. There is no obligation. We know that is important for you to find the right person to work with. Surprisingly a good relationship is a great aid to achieving what you want.
Q. What can coaching/mentoring sessions do for me?
A.. The aim is to give you motivation to get in control of your diabetes. Along with motivation I will give you information so that you can do your own research and make decisions about lifestyle and what goals you have for change. We cannot expect to get all the information we need from the doctor.
Q. What should I do if I feel like I am at a crisis point right now.
A. You should contact an agency such as the Samaritans who are available 24 hours 7 days per week
